Mrs. Mary Disharoon Dies In Pennsylvania

Mrs. S. Mary Disharoon, widow of S. Frank Disharoon, of Salisbury died yesterday morning at a convalescent home near Harrisburg, Pa., at the age of 80. Since Nov. 1 Mrs. Disharoon had been living at Kelper's Convalescent Home at Elizabethville, Pa., which is near Harrisburg where two of her daughters, Mrs. Barney L. Hayman and Miss Dora Disharoon live. Mrs. Disharoon was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John William Parsons of Wicomico county. Beside Mrs. Hayman and Miss Disharoon, she is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Arthur Williams and Mrs. Daisey McConnell; and four sons, Emory, Albert L., W. Arthur and S. Richard Disharoon, all of Salisbury. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Hill and Johnson's Funeral Home with interment in Forest Grove Cemetery near Parsonsburg. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at the funeral home.

Sallie married Samuel Francis Disharoon, son of James Kinderly Disharoon Sr. and Amelia Stanton Malone, in 1884. (Samuel Francis Disharoon was born in 1859 in Worcester Co., MD,^{1 2} died in 1921 in Wicomico Co., MD and was buried in 1921 in Parsons Cemetery, Salisbury, Wicomico Co., MD.)
