Funeral service for May Edna Shiles Perkins Anderson, 82, of Ormond Beach who entered into rest May 14, 2007, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Haigh-Black Funeral Home, 167 Vining Court, Ormond Beach. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Anderson was born in Daytona Beach February 18, 1925 to Leslie Lawrence Shiles and Dorothy Jane Wood. She was a retired Vice President of the former Heritage Federal Savings and Loan in Daytona Beach. She was a member of Unity Church and was active with Masterworks. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed traveling and volunteering and helped coordinate Mainland High School Reunions each year. She is survived by her son, Gene Perkins and his wife Jo Ann, Charles Town, West Virginia; two grandchildren, Lindsey Perkins, Ormond Beach and Phillip Perkins, Charles Town West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of cut flower arrangements, her family requests live hibiscus plants.
