Stephen Roger Turton, "Steve", 44, a resident of Annapolis and formerly of Annandale, Va., died of cancer November 29 at the Mandrin Hospice House in Harwood. He was born Sept. 28, 1966, in Salisbury, to Raymond and the late Lois Turton, and graduated from Annapolis High School in 1984. He attended Anne Arundel Community College, where he received an Associate's degree in business administration in 1986. Two years later, he received his Bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Baltimore. Steve spent most of his life working in Northern Virginia in the banking and finance field. He enjoyed sports, the beach and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his father, Raymond, of New Orleans, La.; two siblings, Richard Turton of Edgewater and Michelle Every of Riva; and niece, Kailin Turton of Riva. Friends are invited to Steve's Life Celebration from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 3 at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Interment Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
