Charles Edmond Keating went to be with his Lord on Friday, August 27. Charles was born in Liberal, Kansas May 28, 1917. He married Opal Hargrove June 10, 1939. They moved to Burbank, California in 1950 and to Hemet in 1981. Charles was an aircraft engineer working in aircraft design and manufacturing and had patents for some of his interior design work. While raising their three children Charles and Opal enjoyed square dancing and camping. They were active in their church, Toastmasters, acted as adult leaders in Jobs Daughters and Demolays and coached girl's softball. After moving to Hemet Charles was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Hi Twelve, Shriners, the First Presbyterian Church and loved traveling especially in their motor home.
Opal passed in January of 2003. Charles is survived by Patricia Hanson of Bonita Springs, Florida, Charles Eugene Keating of Burbank, California, Mary Zimmerman of Idyllwild, California four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
