For many years he operated a varietystore in Princeton, IN. with considerable success. He acquired considerable property and left his wife and children fairly well-to-do. His widow who had always helped him with his store after his death bought the Princeton Hotel which she now (1931) operates. She is a worker in politics and is really a power in Democratic circles in Southern Indiana. -By one of the family."
