Thomas Wilson

In 1803, he signed an affadavit of seamen at the port of Philadelphia saying he was born in that city, was age 22 and is described as 5'-6", dark brown hair, hazel eyes, sharp dimpled chin, pock-marked face, fair complexion with a round scar on his right leg. He is said to have a mermaid, first anchor and the letters "T.W." as India ink tattoos on his right arm.

Thomas married Mary (Polly) Oaks, daughter of John Oaks and Mary ENNIS, on 08 Dec 1814 in Huntingdon Co., PA. (Mary (Polly) Oaks was born about 1789 in Ireland, died on 18 Mar 1873 in Huntingdon Co., PA and was buried about 21 Mar 1873 in Manor Hill Methodist Cemetery, Huntingdon Co., PA.)
