MARVIN HITCH, age 95, a resident of Grand Haven Nursing Home in Cynthiana died Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the nursing home. Born in Robertson County, February 25, 1914, to the late William Henry and Elzina Moreland Hitch, he was a retired farmer and a member of Central Christian Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Hill Hitch; three brothers, Rev. Harry Hitch, Claude Hitch and Euehl Hitch and three sisters, Nora Kennedy, Nettie Stoehr and Thelma Sexton. He is survived by his wife, Gladys McCane Hitch; a son, Carl Wayne (Rita) Hitch, Cynthiana; a sister, Erna (Bob) Brock, Lebanon, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kasey True Hitch and Anthony (Teresa) Hitch and 4 great grandchildren, Jayden Kline, Lauren Hitch, Carli Withers, Emma Withers and Chad Barnes. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Paul Stamper. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery
