On Jan 9 1743, David Long had tract "Forest Flower" surveyed for 100a. On Jun 16 1749, Zachariah and David Long has surveyed for them 50a called "Partnership." Both of these tracts were in Worcester Co., MD but in what becames Sussex Co., DE, near and west of the town of Frankford.
David Long Sr. wrote his will Apr 25 1785 and it was proven in Suusxe Co., DE on May 4 1791: - To son John western end of tract "Forest Flower" where he now lives - To son Armwell, rest of the above tract also my wife Ann Long to have use of my part of the Cedar Swamp called McCras parcel? - To my wife Ann, my mill to have use of then equally divided among my children David, John & Armwell Long, Mary Hudson, Elizabeth Newport, Nancy Scudder, Rachel Holloway, Myrvin Gray, Joyce Chamberlain - To Armwell Long as my executor Witnesses: Jos. David married Ann Lockwood, daughter of Richard Lockwood and Mary (?), on 26 May 1735 in Somerset Co., MD. (Ann Lockwood was born about 1720 and died after 1791 in Sussex Co., DE.)
