Turner Fooks wrote her will Oct 22 1844 and it was proven in Worcester Co., MD on Jan 8 1861:
- To son James Fooks, one feather bed stead and furniture and $110
- To son Handy Fooks, $110
- To son Ritchie Fooks, $110
- To daughter Gatty Fooks, negro boy Noah until he reaches age 24 at which time he will be free
- To granddaughter Huldah Jane Dennis, d/o John Dennis of T., one countespane?
- To rest of estate to divide equally between three daughters and four granddaughters, children of my daughter Margaret Dennis deceased (unnamed 4 grandchildren of her), daughter Sarah Farlow w/o Billy F. Farlow, Abigail Farlow w/o George Farlow, and daughter Gatty Farlow
- Appoint son James Fooks as executor
