Donna Marie Hitch

SALISBURY \emdash Donna Marie Hitch, 63, of Salisbury died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at her home with family by her side. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Irl and Lois Bratten Shockley. Donna was a devoted member of Rockawalkin United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. During most of her life, she was a beautician, working for herself and later for Tiffany's Beauty Salon and for Deb's Cut and Curl.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Hitch, son, Michael R. Hitch, grandson, Jackson H. Hitch, and granddaughter, Makenzie R. Hitch, all of Salisbury; and a brother and his wife, Steve M. and Cindy Shockley of Lynchburg, Va. She is also survived by other family members and her many friends from her church. A service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Rockawalkin United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Patty Frick will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rockawalkin United Methodist Church or Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, Md. 21802.

Donna married Gary Lloyd (Linwood?) Hitch, son of Linwood Thomas Hitch Jr. and Naomi Elizabeth Dennis. (Gary Lloyd (Linwood?) Hitch was born on 29 Mar 1946 in Salisbury, Wicomico Co., MD ¹.)
