(SxW-G:043) JOHN ELLIOTT 11/09/1804 01/21/1815 "being very sick and weak in body . . ." Bequeaths to: 1. Joseph Elliott --son to have the plantation whereon the testator now lives and should he die before coming of age then to be divided among all of the testator's children, to have 1 sheep and no more of the estate. 2. Polly Elliott --daughter, to have the best bed 3. Thomas Elliott --son, to have the sum of 5 pounds in money more than his equitable share of the estate 4. Elisha Elliott --son, Buckley Elliott --son, John Elliott --son, -testator's sons and Thomas are all to be bound to trades as they come of age and they to choose their masters. 5. Jacob Adams --friend, named executor of the will and instructed that the remainder of the estate to be divided among the testator's children --except for Joseph. Witnesses: Levin Connaway, James Messick, Betsy Massey (mark) The testator signed the will in his own hand, Jacob Adams renounced his right to act as executor of the will
