He is listed for the timeframe Mar 25 1775 to Dec 14 1776 where he carried £1/0/0 from Ledger H. He purchased trace ropes, indigo and a thimble for a total of £1/11/9 for which he paid with corn delivered by John Moore and 9 yards of country linen in 1776.
Jacob Elliott lived to be nearly 100 years old. He is listed as age 80-90 in the 1830 census and is undoubtedly the male aged 90-100 in the household of Jacob W. Elliott (his grandson) in the 1840 census for Sussex Co., DE. His probate records are listed for years 1841/42.
