30 May 1766 "Then came William Whittington (who wrote the foregoing will) and George Hayward who was present when the same was written and made oath ... that they were both present when the said will was wrote and heard the testator deliver the same as entered in the said will so far as till the Dec, came to the fourth bequest ... the said Henry Selby (who had been some time before shott by a Negro) died suddenly"
