Finla McWILLIAMS
In 1664, he patented Whitelaw tract A99, (now, south of Parksley, west of R.R. track, Accomack Co, Virginia) - It contained 400 acres and was called the Forke Neck, and was between the main north and south forks of Hunting Creek, above were the latter forked to make Drake's neck. In 1687 Finla Mackwilliam (wife Mary) left to his sons Finla & Overton, but if either died without heir, that part was to go to a daughter Sarah. Finla married Mary OVERTON. (Mary OVERTON was born about 1640 in England and died before 1698 in Accomack Co., VA.) |
