DR. EDWARD E. TULL DIES; VICTIM OF HEART ATTACK
Prominent Somerset Resident Dies Suddenly Yesterday.
Dr. Edward E. Tull, one of the prominent citizens of Somerset County, and the largest land owner in the County, dropped dead at his home on Wicomico Creek, just north of Princess Anne, yesterday (Friday) morning. An attack of heart trouble which he suffered without warning was the cause of death. Dr. Tull was 61 years of age, and was apparently in the peak of health at the time of his death. For many years he practiced surgery in New York City, and also served overseas during the war. He was one of the few surviving founders of the American Surgical Society, and while practicing in New York was recognized as of outstanding professional ability. He gave up active practice some years ago, and at the close of the war came back to his native county. His country estate near Princess Anne, where he entertained lavishly, was one of the show places of the Eastern Shore. The deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs. Baker of Baltimore and one half-brother, Robert H Jones of Fairmount.
