According to the Miles Files: Bef 18 Oct 1718 Somerset County, Maryland, proving the Kellam had married a Kirk daughter.
It was on this date that John Kirk, planter, Annamessex Hundred, wife Bridget, left 1 shilling each to John Gunby, John Kellam and grandson Wm. Beaven, which shall debar them and their heirs from all claim against my estate. (NOTE: Evidently Gunby and Kellam and Beaven had married his daughters, now dec'd.)
