POWELLVILLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Myrtle Hammond, 50, who died suddenly Saturday in her home the Powellville-Willards Rd., will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Burbage Funeral Home here. The Rev. Herbert Gladden, pastor of the St. Johns Methodist Church, Powellville, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery here. She was the wife of Louis J. Hammond and daughter of the late George T. and Florida Farlow Donoway of Whaleysville. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anna Webb and Mrs. Alice Brittingham, both of Powellville; a son, George Hammond of Powellville; two brothers, Reese of New Jersey and Harley Hammond of Salisbury; four sisters, Mrs. Pansy Murray and Mrs. Pauline Hall, both of Pittsville, Mrs. Edna Jones of Powellville and Mrs. Roxie Condon of Salisbury; and three grandchildren.
