He wrote his will 18 Mar 1708/09 as William Brittingham Sr. To son Samuel plantation where he now lives being on the gut leading out of Pitts Creek. To son Nathaniel plantation where I now live & for want of heirs to my son Samuel. To son John. To daughter Rebecca Brittingham 150 acres where William Brittingham, Jr. lately lived. To son William 400 acres in Somerset County, Maryland, being part of a divident containing 700 acres called Winter Quarter. To son Joseph 200 acres in Somerset County being part of the above tract. To son Samuel 100 acres of said tract. To daughter Sarah Horsey. To son Isaac 5 s. as a bar to cut him off. Son in law Mr. Francis Thorrowgood 1/2 of the marsh land adjcent planta where I now live in Somerset County, Maryland, & the other 1/2 to my son Nathaniel. Daughter Ann Thorowgood. Wife Mary & son in law Francis Thorowgood Exrs. Witt: Robert Pitt, Ralph Milbourne, Elizabeth Pitt, Thomas Baker. Its was probated 5 Apr 1709 in Accomack County, Virginia.
