Job Smith Senior
7 February 1795
To son David Smith - all the lands to the north of a maple bounder standing on the Woof Pit Marsh and running across my land to a post between the Sharps and myself excepting one acre where I keep my hogs. If my son die but is survived by his widow, his widow shall have her dower in the said land for her widowhood
To son Job Smith - the acre where I keep my hogs. Also my home plantation. Also the residue of estate provided that he learn (or cause to be learned) my grandson Jonathan to "read Right and Ciffer in a perfect manner as far as the Rule of Three
To grandson Jonathan __ (?Millmon) and my grandson Job Smith - the land given to my son Job if Job dies without issue on condition that they pay to my daughter Salley Smith the sum of 50 pounds each; provided that Salley is living and unmarried. Also a good feather bed and cow and calf to be delivered to him when he is of lawful age
To daughter Ann Young (wife of John Young) - 20 shillings over and above what I have heretofore given her
To daughter Mary Marvel (wife of Robert Marvel) - 20 shillings over and above what I have heretofore given her
