Russell grew up and worked on his family farm in Salisbury, and graduated from Wicomico High School in 1942. After graduation, he served in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. He was employed at The Wayne Pump/Dresser Ind. For 38 years, where he received various awards for his ingenuity. His love of farming was quite evident with the many varieties of grapes, fruit trees, and restoring antique cars when he was not working in his garden, and could build, design, and fabricate just about anything. He enjoyed reading about history, cars or tractors, and telling old stories to his grandsons. He was well loved by his family and many friends, and will surely be missed by all. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11:00am at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury with Reverend Michael Phillips officiating.
