George Wailes EB17:160 19 Oct 1788 18 Jun 1791 To son John Irving Wailes: manor plantation where I now dwell, GOLDS DELIGHT, Also, 100 ac WAILES CHOICE, 122 ac of BAILEYS CHANCE,above two tracts in Sussex (Little Creek) conveyed to the testator by Samuel Jackson Bailey. To grandson William Wailes (son of Levin and Mary Wailes): to receive GOLDS DELIGHT with manor plantation from John Irving Wailes when William arrives at the age of 21. To son George Wailes: all the land in the resurvey from WAILES CHOICE and saw mill. Evidently this intended additional acreage in a Sussex-era resurvey. Also, land on the north side of Cod Creek Branch purchased from Capt. Joseph Davenport, 100 ac Executors: John Irving Wailes and nephew William Moore (who renounced). Witnesses: Isaac Cooper, James Cooper, William B. Cooper.
