Alexander Stewart

Alexander Stewart was executor of Hast Dashiell's will. He is listed in the 1740 Tax List but his widow is in the next one surviving for 1743 suggesting he died 1741-42. His account is in SoW-EB14:131 for Aug 22 1744 with Rebecca Stewart, admin and names his five children as Sarah King, Betty, John, William and Anne Stewart.

Alexander married Rebecca Dashiell, daughter of Robert Dashiell and Sarah Hast (Hastings?), about 1730 in Somerset Co., MD. (Rebecca Dashiell was born about 1714 in Somerset Co., MD and died before 27 Jun 1769 in Somerset Co., MD.)
