Giles Bashaw MdW-24:099SoW-EB9:248 16 Mar 1739 (NS)23 Mar 1745 (NS) To Jarrett Bashaw, part of HOGS DOWN dividing it from the land of Graves Boardman, from a small branch and so up the main branch to the head of the said tract of land. Also, testator's right to MOUNT PLEASANT (not determined which tract of this name is meant; likely in now-Sussex, perhaps in Northwest Fork (then-Dorchester)) on the branch of the Nanticoke; should he get the land he is to pay Thomas Collier 10 shillings. To Ann Bashaw and Eleanor Bashaw (sisters of Jarrett): Jarrett to pay each ,5. If he dies without heirs, they to inherit his bequests. To Graves Boardman: 50 ac of HOGS DOWN, lying between the branch that divides it from the land of Thomas Goslee and running up to a branch dividing it from the land of Jarrett Bashaw. To Samuel Boardman: all testator's right to the land on that side of the branch adjoining his land, if he pays 40 shillings to the testator's estate, part of HOGS DOWN To cousin Sarah Boardman: 20 shillings. To Priscilla Goslee (daughter of Thomas Goslee): a little pot. To Frances Goslee: a little skillet. To Graves Bashaw: all of testator's turning tools and a handsaw. To Eleanor Goslee, Elizabeth Harren, Sarah Boardman, Wine Cornish, Sarah Bashaw, Mary Bashaw, Thomas Bashaw and Sarah Handy: remainder of estate to be divided among them and Anne Bashaw and Eleanor Bashaw. I leave to Peterkin who married Elizabeth Nutter: a Negro boy in lieu of what testator was to give for him, it proving to be a cheat affirming yet he was but ten years of Age which it prove to be 12 or 13 and has fits.
