To daughter Mary Smith: for her life, 40 ac of HOPKINS LAST CONCLUSION, adjoining the tract of land my son-in-law Thomas Smith now lives on, being along the back line of Mr. Littleton Aires land toward John Dashiell's land, Negroes "Nathan" "Mille" and "Young Beck" to have use of Negro "Jacob" until granddaughter Molly Dashiell comes of age 18, use of Negroes "Old Beck" and "London" during her life and at her decease to be divided between her children, riding horse, table, feather bed and furniture, half dozen pewter plates and one basin
To grandson John Smith: land left to Mary Smith at her decease.
Levi Hopkins --son, to have the residue of lands, Negro "Black Davy" Negro wench "Leah" and her two children "Sam" and "Esther" and Negro man "John", still and hand mill, Negro wench "Sarah" for the term of 10 years from testator's decease and then to become property of any children that he may have residue of the personal estate to be divided between Levi and Mary Smith, Named executor of the estate and instructed to sell enough of personal estate in order to build a dwelling house for Thomas and Mary Smith on the land where they now dwell--to ,100 current money.
