Samuel Ward MW 31:387EB4:080 07 Jan 176106 Jun 1761 or 21 Jul 1761 Hundred John Ward --son -all land to the east of the run called "Cowdame Run" and the back outside of the bank of his ditch "clear round" -to be executor along with Isaac Daugherty Joseph Ward --son -all land northward from the NE corner of John Ward's orchard running as his fence goes to the chestnut tree by his ditch and then east to John Ward's ditch -should Samuel die without issue then Joseph to have land left to him from the mulberry stump to "Numus Landing" -to have privileges along with John, Samuel, Martha to the marsh and all to bear an equal share of the cost Kiziah Laws --daughter -parcel of land beginning in the marshside running as the fence goes to the corner of "My Yong Orchard" and then north to the lane fence on the north of the lane running as the fence goes round as he made a pasture fence joining to Joseph Ward leaving out of John Ward's orchard -to have along with Joseph, Samuel, Martha a parcel of land called "White Oak Swamp" to be divided equally among them excluding a small parcel of the north end. Martha Daugherty --daughter -parcel of land beginning at a slash at the NW side of my old orchard running to a mulberry stump on the NW corner of the orchard from there running to a persimmon tree on a ditch bank pear a pear tree hedge and from that running to a white oak standing by a field called "The Thickett Field" on the south side of the field then to John Ward's ditch bank. Samuel Ward --son -all land southward from the creek joining upon the land of Martha Mary Paremore --daughter -to have the small parcel on the north end of "White Oak Swamp" to build a house Mary Ward --wife -all household goods and moveables Witnesses: William Riggin, Mathias Ward, Potter Lord Then came: Mary Ward, widow and elected to take her thirds of the estate both real and personal
