Col. William Coulbourne
William Coulborne had patented 1000 acres in Somerset County in 1663, which he named Pomfrett, and this was increased to 14,000 acres by a resurvey on 13 June 1679. This land was located to the southeast of the Great Annemessex River and on the south side of Coulborne's Creek. William Coulborne's daughter Penelope, who married Michael Holland before September 1688, was Wm. Coulborne's daughter by his second marriage to Margaret Cooper. William married Anne (?). (Anne (?) died before 1671 in Somerset Co., MD.) William next married Margaret Cooper. |
