In his will Edmund Beauchamp named wife Sarah Extx. and gave her tract Contention, 100 ac, tract Marsh Ground and entire personal estate during her widowood, provided James Traherne shall see fit; after her marriage or death persoal estate to be divided among 5 children, viz: John, William, Edmond, Elizabeth and Anne. to son Edmond 100 ac tract Marsh Ground, after wife's widowhood or death. Overseer: Brother-in-law James Traherne, he failing to act then Jeoffrey Long. Witt: Sarah Piel (alias Benston), John Benston & London Wallstone.
