Helen Reddish Pusey 90, of Salisbury, MD went home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2022.

Helen spent many wonderful years working for Wicomico County Public Schools as a teaching assistant and crossing guard. She was a GODLY woman, volunteering her time at church and raising her family to live in the way of the Lord at Zion United Methodist Church. She had an extensive collection of nativity scenes and a love for old classic hymns. In her later years she enjoyed spending time on her porch chatting with her friends at Pine Bluff and Genesis Nursing Home. Helen was always meticulously dressed and took pride in having her nails painted by her granddaughter Hannah, she would show them off anytime she received a compliment. Helen's (Granny's) family was the most important thing in her life. Spending time with them after church on Sundays while Elijah napped in her bed, and starting the standing Friday night Reddish family dinners. She looked forward to tailgating at NASA rocket launches with Linda, Diana and the rest of the family, bragging about Jeff and "his rockets". She was also always proudly telling everyone about her marine grandson Micah, who was following in his grandfather's footsteps. The love shared between the Reddish family is abundant. It is felt (and heard) as soon as they are all together, with Granny being the center of the love and the light of the room.

Helen is survived by her children Linda (Donald) Shockley, Diana (Rodriquez)Wilkinson, Rick (Debbie) Reddish and Jeff Reddish, Grandchildren Kevin Shockley(Karen), Kip (Stacy) Shockley, Danah (DeVon) Artis, Roni Gail(Glenn) Williams, Dean Wilkinson(Kelly), Megan (Timothy) Carey, Lauren (Justin) Salter, Hannah, Micah and Elijah Reddish. Many great-grandchildren Meredith Miller, Chad and Olivia White, Mayson and Holden Shockley, Gabriela and Giavanna Artis, Eden, Tess and Knole Carey, Savannah Salter, her sister Nancy VanHoose, and her nieces Anita (Darrell) Jackson and Cathie (Scott) Todd, loved ones in Virginia, and many more special family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband George Reddish Sr., son George Reddish Jr, grandson George Seth Reddish, her parents and sisters Marie Rupe, Nell Conti, and Myrtle Campbell. A funeral service to honor the life of Helen Reddish Pusey will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD, 21804. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service which will be officiated by Pastor Rich Walton. Interment will be held at Reddish Family Cemetery immediately following the service

Helen married George Linberg Reddish Sr., son of John Staton Reddish Sr. and Edna Belle Bennett. (George Linberg Reddish Sr. was born on 22 May 1927 in Wicomico Co., MD, died on 21 Oct 1986 in Wicomico Co., MD and was buried about 24 Oct 1986 in Reddish Family Cemetery, Salisbury, Wicomico Co., MD.)
