Jesse W. Wall

Jesse and Susan's graves were among those moved from Haw Ridge, there are no markers for their graves. His son, Jesse Harrison Wall, had an article in "Memorial Records of Alabama" which gave some information on them. They married c.1832 in Georgia and had eleven children. There are deed records showing the move from Schley Co, Ga. to Dale Co, Ala. Jesse's parents were Shadrach Wall and Elizabeth Matthews Wall.

Their children were; Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy A., Shadrack B., Sarah "Caroline", James, Martha "Antionette", child, Austin David, Jesse Harrison, and George Washington Wall.

Jesse married Susan R. Hawthorn, daughter of William Hawthorn and Susan (?). (Susan R. Hawthorn was born in 1815 in GA, died in 1886 in Dale Co., AL and was buried in 1886 in Haw Ridge Cemetery, Marley Mill, Dale Co., AL.)
