Elwood Francis Evans

Elwood served as a Technician Fifth Grade, 1992nd Engineer Fire Fighting Platoon, U.S. Army during World War II. He resided in Wicomico County, Maryland prior to the war. He enlisted in the Army on January 28, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the manufacture of textiles and also as Single, without dependents. Elwood died in the "Line Of Duty" of a non-battle related incident during the war. Service # 33553466
