Alexander Adams wrote his will on Apr 27 1769 and it was probated in Somerset on Sep 26 1769:
-To Sarah Adams, daughter-in-law, widow of son Alexander, deceased, all those parts of 4 tracts of land called "Wallaces's Chance" "Windsor" "Trouble" and "Dentry" that lies on the eastern side of the road that leads from the head of Wicomico Creek to Princess Ann Town for her life or widowhood and to have one-third part of the above named tracts after all children are grown and married.
-To Alexander Adams --grandson, son of Alexander, deceased, to have the other 2/3rds of the tracts left to his mother and the whole possession at remarriage of widow and parcel of land in the fork of the branch above Huston's Mill in Worcester County called "Bear Fields"
-To William Adams, son, all the land that lies on the western side of the road that leads from the head of Wicomico Creek to Princess Ann Town, the boundaries running down the road as low as Duck Cove which makes the Chapel Landing
-To John Adams, son, all remaining part of lands not already given away, two tracts of land called "Glasgow Swamp" and the other "Wilson's Folly"
-To Andrew Adams, son, two tracts of land called "Turkey Trap Ridge" and "Clover Ground"

His estate was inventoried on May 19 1771 for £1527.8.1 3/4 by admins Alexander, John and William Adams (SoInv-EB10:146)
