On Sep 14 1734 50a of the tract HOGS DOWN was conveyed from Giles Bashaw to Thomas Goslee (as Goslin of Stepney Parish) (SoLR-AZ:171). On Jan 30 1748 (NS) another 50a of the tract HOGS DOWN was conveyed from Graves Boardman, planter to Thomas Goslee, planter (SoLR-X:306).

Thomas Goslee, "Anglican" wrote his will Feb 2 1749 and it was probated in Somerset Feb 13 1749 (NS) as:
Unworthy member of the Church of England

To son Samuel Goslee: plantation and land I now live on, 100 ac of HOGS DOWN, to be of age at 18; lands left him to be delivered at that time. Also, cow and heifer his grandfather gave him; plows, axes, harrows, hoes, and a gun; a mare.
To daughters Frances Goslee and Eleanor Goslee: remainder of creatures, cattle and hogs and moveable estate, to be divided equally among them.
Executor: Graves Boardman. To have care and custody of Samuel and his estate until age 18.
