Jonathan Noble sonn of William Noble & borne of Jennett his wife the tenth day of April anno Domini one thousand six hundred eighty six.

Jonathan Noble wrote his will on Jan 25 1721 (new style) and it was proven in Somerset Co., MD on Apr 29 1721 as:
- To sons William and Jonathan, land tracts Cherry Garden and Hachela equally divided to lay out a number of acres in Hachela next to Cherry Garden to make number of acres equal. Cherry Garden is the tract whereon I live and the water mill and part of Hachela to son William, the rest of Hachela to son Jonathan. (NOTE: these tracts are where the Eastern Shore Forestry Products operates in 2024 [the old plywood plant] on the north side of the Pocomoke River just across it from Pocomoke City)
- To same son, my 75a part of Timber Grove tract
- To daughters Rebecca, Hannah and Elizabeth, the rest of my estate
- Appoint brothers-in-law George Tull and William Mills as guardians to my five children.
Witnesses: John Porter, Rebecca R.B. Benston, Robert Mills (SoW-EB9:078) (MdW-16:414)
