Hunter Bruce Pusey
Hunter Bruce Pusey, 74, of Parsonsburg, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at his home. Born December 18, 1947, in Pocomoke City, he was the son of the late Walter Brice and Dorothy (Gibbons) Pusey. Bruce was preceeded in death by his wife Saylon (Harmon) Pusey. After graduating high school, he joined the US Army and served in Vietnam. Bruce worked in various local poultry plants retiring as a supervisor. Bruce had been a member of Berlin American Legion Post #123 Boggs Disharoon, VFW Meuse Post #194, Salisbury and other Vietnam Veterans groups. Bruce enjoyed working Soduku puzzles, watching Westerns and learning about the various Native American cultures. Above all else, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include four children, twins, Thomas Pusey of Parsonsburg and Jennifer Shahan of Delmar, Michael Pusey of Parsonsburg, Daniel Pusey and his wife Lauren of Whaleyville; two sisters, Ann Bloom and Lyn Pusey both of Pocomoke City; and 14 Grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, November 10 in Holloway Funeral Home, Pocomoke City. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00-2:00PM in the funeral home.
