Thomas made a will on 5 November 1758 at Northampton Co, VA. In his will Thomas Dewey gave to loving wife Mary use of houses and plantation whereon I now live during her widowhood, but if both my children should dye then to my wife for life. To wife n. woman Betty. To dau. Metildar n. girl Esther and n. boy Ladus. To son George my wearing clothes. Wife and William Simkins extrs. Witt: John Milby, William Simkins, Jr., Leah 'L' Milby. At probate the name of the will appointed extr. is William Simkins, Sr. He died before 13 February 1759 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that his will was proved.
