He was named in a deposition on 29 July 1654 at Northampton Co, VA. The deposition of Wm. Kendall taken in open Court 28 July 1654 sayth that about November 1650 he did here Mr. Edward Drew dec'd, say that (if he dyed at the sickness) that he did freely give unto Emanuell Hall; one year of his time (who was then his servant).

Emmanuel Hall Sr. bought land on 6 November 1665 at tract N16, east of Capeville, Northampton Co, VA. Mark Manlow, late of Northampton County, sold to Emmanuel Hall for 8,000 lbs tobacco the southern most part of 400 acres taken up my Mr. Ennis and sold by him to William Johnson and by William Johnson to William Mills and by William Mills to Phillip Watkins and now escheated to me Mark Manlow and granted to me by letter patent dated 24 Oct 1665 lying at Pemino at the Seaboard side in Northampton County. There was mention that Elizabeth Manlow, the lawfull wife of Mark Manlow, shall surrender all her right title & interest in the 200 acres. (NOTE: Whitelaw shows that in 1666 Emmanuel Hall left to his son John and in the same year the widow of Manlove, now Elizabeth Greene, released her dower rights to William Kendall, but his could have only been her life interest as young Hall retained title.)

Emmanuel made a will on 3 April 1666 at Northampton Co, VA. In his will Immanuel Halle gave to his eldest son John Hall my land and for want of his heirs to return to my youngest son Immanuel Hall, and if both die without heirs to return to my daughter Ann Hall, only my wife's lifetime excepted. To my daughter Ann two cows. Wife (no name) extrx. and resid. legatee. Witt: Edward Innis, William Innis, George Lillie.

Emmanuel died before 28 May 1666 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that his will was probated. (Note: Eustace Peasons married the mother of the three orphans of Emanuel Hall.)6,7
