*Uncertain son of Gillis Figgs - may not be as he was in Frederick Co. Evidently Daniel Figgs and family moved from Frederick Co., MD to Richland Co., OH aft 1838, then to Eaton Co., MI in the 1850s.

Daniel is a very uncommon given name in this area at that time - it MAY BE a clue that his mother might be a daughter of Daniel Elliott, hence the speculative placement.
