William Pusey

In the Jun court, 1729, we find the following regarding orphan William Pusey (who this compiler found to be the out-of-wedlock child of William Lankford and Sarah Pusey: "William Pusey an Orphan boy is bound by the Court of his own Consent unto Thomas Williams Untill he arrives to the age of Twenty One Years he being five years of age the fourteenth day of October next the Said apprentice to Serve his said Master the full term of time afd in all such Lawfull service as
he should Imploy him in or about the full term of time afd &c. In consideration of which Servitude the afd Thomas Williams undertakes for to Learn his said apprentice the trad^e^ of a Shoemaker and to read well in the bible during his Servitude afd and Likewise to find and provide for his said Servant dureing the term afd meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Mete for Such an apprentice to have and wear &c."
