Richard Phillips Senior 16 June 181828 July 1820 To son Levin Phillips - 125 acres called TAYLORS ADDITION and BRADLEY DELIGHT To sons Richard and George Phillips - the above land if Levin should die without heir To sons Jonathan Bailey Phillips and Samuel Phillips - remainder of land to be divided between them by a divisional line that has been made beginning at a persimmon tree standing in the edge of a glade and running with a line to a marked red oak and then to a white oak bounder being the beginning bounder of PHILLIPS ADDITION. Samuel to have my home plantation and the part adjoining it. Jonathan to have the remaining part. Also to Samuel and Jonathan, after their mother's death, my two Negro boys named Barthhalawmew and Gillis Stayton. Also a bed and furniture and a mare to each son. Also my still and all my casks To sons Jonathan and Samuel and to my wife Leviniah (their mother) - my crop of corn and all my meat To sons Richard Phillips and George Phillips - after the death of their mother, two negro boys. One boy named Trustin Handy and the other named Elias Jackson To daughter Nancy Twilley (wife of Robert Twilley) - $50 To daughter Sarah Darby (wife of Thomas Darby) - $50 To daughter Levinah Phillips (wife of Perigrim Phillips) - $50 To daughter Betsy Bennitt (wife of William Bennitt) - $50 To wife Levinah Phillips - Negro man named Eben and Negro woman named Miriam for her life or widowhood. Also remainder of personal estate for her life or widowhood and then to be divided among my children To son Richard Phillips - Negroes Eben and Miriam after wife's death and also the increase of woman Miriam from this present time.
