From "A Hitch Orchard" compiled by Daisy Hitch Davies in 1931: Elizabeth married again (See RI Records - Vol. I and II, pg. 3 to be found in New York City Main Public Library). "Elizabeth H. Hitch and George K. England married (Warwick), 1850. " A half niece of William Hitch states that Elizabeth had a daughter, Sarah Ann English, by second husband. "Sarah Ann" married Mr. Hardwin and they had one daughter. This branch resided at Reacedale, RI. Elizabeth married William M. Hitch, son of Hardy Elgate Hitch and Martha (Patty) Mayhew, on 25 Nov 1832 in Bristol Co., MA.1 2 (William M. Hitch was born in 1799 in Fairhaven, Bristol Co., MA 4 5 6 and died on 11 Nov 1839 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, LA 3 7 8.) |
