Thomas Sheilles ye son of Thomas Shiells was borne of Alce his wife att Wickocomoco ye twelfth day of November one thousand six hundred sixty & eight
Elizabeth Shilles ye daughter of Thomas Shiles was borne att Manokin of Ann his wife ye ffourth day of November Anoq Dominy one thousand six hundred seaventy & two
Thomas Shiles wrote his will on Feb Feb 1675 (NS) and it was proven in Somerset Co. on Nov 30 1675:
- To son, Thomas Shiles, when he reaches age 18, all of my plantation of 300a where I now dwell, his choice of one young horse colt, about a year old, feather bed/furniture, and choice of four guns
- To son, John Shiles, when he reaches age 18, 100a of land being two 50a patents, adjoining the land of son Thomas Shile, one feather bed/furniture, and gun, the 2nd choice of four guns
- To daughter, Elizabeth Shiles, one feather bed and large white rug, and one iron pot of about 4 gallons.

Thomas married Alice Major, daughter of John Major and Jane Larrimore, in 1667 in Somerset Co., MD. (Alice Major was born about 1644 and died about 1669 in Somerset Co., MD.)
Thomas next married Ann (?) about 1670 in Somerset Co., MD.
