On 3 Dec 1684 in Accomack Co Court it was noted that the wife of John Marvill was nursing a bastard child "at the charge of the parish," and Marvill was to be paid 423 lbs tobacco as partial payment of what the parish owed him. (NOTE: She was evidently of child bearing age.)
Ann married John Marvel, son of Thomas Marvel and Mary Wright, in 1651 in Accomack Co., VA. (John Marvel was born in 1630-1632 in Melbourne, Cambridgeshire, England and died before 03 Feb 1708 in Accomack Co., VA.)
