OBITUARY
ELIZA HITCH,74
Called by death
Darlington,April 29,1930--Eliza Hitch, 74, died at her home here at 3:15 p m today of carcinoma. She had been ill for more than a year. The deceased was born on March 7,1856 in Centerville, Ohio, the daughter of George and Mary Driver. She was united in marriage with Orel Hitch on March 11,1874. She was a member of the Pythtan Sisters Lodge. Surviving are the husband, two sons, Ed of High Bridge, Wisconsin, and William of Ladoga, one daughter, Mrs Roy Wilson of Crawfordsville,four sisters, Mrs James Masten(sic), Mrs George Thomas of Crawfordsville, Mrs Bruce Masten(sic) of Crawfordsville and Mrs James Shoemaker of Lafayette; thirteen grand children and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock in charge of Rev. McDaniels, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
