HOWARD G. PRICE Funeral services were scheduled friday at 3 p.m. in the Hinman Funeral Home at Princess Anne, for Howard Grant Price, 76, of Sharps Point, near Shad Point. Mr. Price, a former resident of Marion Station, moved to Sharps Point in 1963. According to a family spokesman Mr. Price was found at home Tuesday by friends and it was believed he had died Saturday. He had been ill for a long time and his death was attributed to natural causes. Officiating at the funeral was the Rev. Peter Hale. Interment was in the Rehobeth, Md., Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mr. Price was one of the earliest broilermen on the Eastern Shore, starting in the business in 1926. He was a retired Purina Feed Dealer, operating his feed business in Marion from 1944 until his retirement in 1964. He was a member of the Rehobeth Presbyterian Church. A 32nd degree Mason, he was a member of Manokin Masonic Lodge No. 106 in Princess Anne and the Salisbury Lodge of Perfection and the Salisbury Chapter of Rose Croix. Born at Mt. Vernon, he was a son of the late Aldie Grant and Ella Hopkins Price. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Shockley Price, a patient at the Salisbury Nursing Home; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Anne Ganister, Hatboro, Pa., and Mrs. Christine P. Nyce, Bethesda; seven grandchildren and a brother, Delmas Price, Crisfield. Masonic memorial services were held at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening. (The Crisfield Times, August 17, 1973 pg.11)
