*NOTE - Benj. J. Johnson of the 1870 census appears to be the same as John Johnson of the 1850/60 censuses. However, Benj. J. Johnson's age is listed as 25 in 1870 while it is 24 and 14 for 1860 and 1850, respectively. Benj. was married in 1870 to an 18 year old woman - maybe he fudged his age to get nearer to hers of maybe it's a different person. Given that he is in a household that inclues Elijah Johnson - a known brother to the aforementioned John Johnson, it might be assumed that this Benjamin J. Johnson is indeed the same as the John Johnson of earlier censuses.
Benjamin married Mary (?) about 1868. (Mary (?) was born in 1852 in MD 2.)
