Notes from Steve Hitch (10/22/2000): "Kenneth Ray Hitch born May 18, 1947 in Kokomo Indiana to Kenneth James and Helen Joanne (Gunion) Hitch Brothers Stephen Lynn Hitch and Daniel J. Hitch Attended Woodside Elementary School through 5th grade, Attended Lincoln Elementary School through grade 6, Attended Frankfort Jr. High grades 7 through grades 9 and graduated from Frankfort Senior High in 1964. Aviation training (Private Pilot) lived in Kokomo Indiana as a baby, West Morrison Street until 2nd grade, Central Ave until 5th grade, West Jefferson Street until 6th grade, Mckinley Ave until graduation, Military service for 4 years, trailer Park Jefferson Indiana, country home outside of Fickle Indiana, Walnut street Frankfort Indiana, Greeley Colorado, Loveland Colorado and currently resides in Nunn Colorado. Married to Diana Kay Thurman 1967 with two children Kenneth Andrew and Dana (three grandchildren Jessi, Andrea and Madison) Hobbies: Avid hunter and fisherman (primarily Fly fishing), camping, involved in martial arts-Kung Fu, Karate and Tai Kwan Do also spars with his kids (boxing), flying (private pilots license), Weight lifting, gardening and health foods advocate. Air Force in 1965, basic training in Lackland Air force Base Texas, advanced training in Chenault Air Force Base Illinios, assigned as a B-52 Mechanic in California, Guam, Thailand and South Dakota. Was Chief Mechanic in South Damato. Tour of Duty in Thailand included several secret stints to Vietnam. Occupations: Worked in a chicken farm as a youth, delivered newspapers, Factory worker in several factories in Frankfort, Kodak Industries in Colorado with part time jobs as Pizza delivery--trail crew for Rocky Mountain Park and Garden Pond installation.
