Michael Carroll Hitch

I assembled this page as a memorial to our son, Michael Carroll Hitch.   He was born December 24, 1992 and died on April 8, 1993.  He passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), a disorder of unknown cause, treatment or cure.   It affects about one in every 500 babies, with a 70% incidence rate in boys.   Average age of occurrence is between 2 and 4 months but can occur any time between birth and one year.  Michael's death was an extremely tragic event and trying time for our family.  Our grieving has by-and-large shifted from extreme sorrow to positive remembrances and that is the purpose of this page.  Thanks and God bless.
