Garrett was mentioned in a will on 18 July 1632 at Northampton Co, VA. He was shown as Garret Andrews and given 3 barrels of corn in the will of William Batts.

He was named as the executor of a will on 14 September 1635 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that the Petter Nowell's extrs William Andrewes and Garrett Andrewes were referred to.

He was granted a certificate for land on 16 November 1635 at Accomack-Northampton Co, VA. Garrett Andrewes (Anderson?) testified that his following 4 servants entitled him to a land certificate: Garrett Andrewes, Fanget(?) Baker, Phillipp Colle & Thomas Williams.

Garrett was mentioned in a will on 23 April 1636 at Northampton Co, VA. He was shown as Garrett Andrewes in the will of William Smith, planter of Acchawmack. He was given 50 lbs tobacco to make my coffin.

Garrett was named as an appraiser of an estate on 25 September 1637 at Northampton Co, VA. Garret Anderson and Elyas Taylor were named appraisers of the estate of Robert Swanson.

He made a will on 26 August 1647 at Northampton Co, VA. To my eldest son Peter Anderson when 21, 200 acres out of the 400 acres dividend I am now seated upon, he to have his choice of which 200 acres he wants. And his mother-in-law (step-mother) during her widowhood to have the now dwelling house and land, and to act as his overseer as he comes to age. In case his mother-in-law should marry, then he to learn a trade. To my son Peter one fowling piece without a mussle, 3 pounds of powder and 12 pounds of shot, and a Bible. To my son-in-law (step-son) Richard Prickett when 21 one heifer, and 100 acres where my wife shall find it convenient, she to build him a 25 foot long house. My beloved wife Amey Anderson extrx. and resid. legatee. Wittness: Leinng Denwood (Northampton Co Deeds, Wills, etc., III, No. 3, 1645-1651, f. 147) In a subsequent deed of gift the widow names her four children, viz., Garrett, Amey, William and Elizabeth Anderson (Northampton Co Deeds, Wills, etc., III, No. 3, 1645-1651, p. 163).


Garrett married Amey (?). (Amey (?) was born about 1614 and died on 10 Apr 1678 in Accomack Co., VA.)
