Thomas Riley ¹

He made a will on 17 February 1722 at Accomack Co, VA. To eldest son John Riley plantation where I now live containing 300 acres, also 1/2 of marsh purchased of Col. Solomon Ewell, being in all 250 acres. To son Thomas Riley the other 1/2 of the said marsh. To 2 sons William & Lawrence all my marshes & Hammocks at Guilford. To son Benjamin. To daughter Mary Riley. To daughter Sarah Riley. To wife Plantation &c. for life. To cousin Ryley Slocomb a years schooling to be allowed him when he arrives to the age of 15 years. Wife & 7 children, John, Thomas, William, Lawrence, Benjamin, Mary & Sarah Riley residual legatees. Wife (no name) & son John Exrs. Witt: Richard Drummond, Alexander Edwards, John Evans.

Thomas married Sarah Coe, daughter of Timothy Coe and Sarah Hinman, about 1700 in Accomack Co., VA. (Sarah Coe was born about 1676 in Accomack Co., VA and died after 1725 in Accomack Co., VA.)
